CHAPTER 16 - RACOON
Sango stumbled into the room.
Before she knew it, her forehead had become sweaty, so she took out a towel and wiped it.
Ever since she came here, things didn't go well. She was always feeling anxious. She thought it was because she had just arrived and was not used to it. But when she met Princess Hoshi, she became unsettled.

She bowed her head deeply.
Hongyu immediately went looking for the raccoon dog while Sango quietly waited in her room.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, Sango suddenly looked up.
When Hongyu entered the room, there was a raccoon dog beside him.

Sango ran up to it, she patted it on the head and the raccoon dog narrowed its eyes.

She took the raccoon and rubbed her cheek, she let out a cry.
"He was in the lady-in-waiting's rest area. It seems that the members of the food club loved him."
"I see. Good."
Tears slowly came to her eyes again. She closed her eyelids tightly to prevent whatever was in her eyes from escaping. Then she buried her face in the raccoon dog.
Finally, she thanked Hongyu one more time.
Gradually, she became happy and her dark mood was blown away.
"I'm really, really grateful."
She bursted into tears.

Hongyu was annoyed after witnessing Konkon and Sango hugging each other in the room.
He had always thought that these two were suspicious. They were too close.

The court ladies were surprised when they saw Hongyu arrive. They were even more surprised when he told them that he had come looking for a raccoon dog.
He found a raccoon dog. After that, he let out a breath of relief.
He was amazed at what he did when he was supposed to be doing another thing, like searching for raccoons in the inner palace.
However, if he didn't bring it home, Sango would continue to decline and he hated that.
When he received the raccoon dog, he held it under her arm and rushed back to the room.
Sango's expression suddenly brightened when he saw the raccoon dog return.
He then smiled at Hongyu and thanked him.
It was a smile from the bottom of his heart, not one that contained the sadness he had seen before.
At that moment, something strange came to Hongyu's mind.
His heart was beating loudly in his chest and his face felt hot.
He was in a state of confusion due to the emotions he had never felt before.
It took him a while to realize the true nature of his feelings for Sango.
