CHAPTER 15 - ANY NEWS YET?
Even if they made it to the hospital, there was no guarantee that the girl would survive.
Wang Lin gently laid the girl, Qingyi, on a chair and placed his right hand on her back. A stream of pure spiritual energy flowed into her body, mending her damaged organs while draining the accumulated blood from her lungs.

Qingyi coughed up a large mouthful of fresh blood.
The woman's expression changed instantly. Angrily, she demanded, "What are you doing?"
"Don't worry, I'm just forcing the congested blood out of her body," Wang Lin explained as he continued to heal Qingyi's internal injuries.
Hearing Wang Lin's explanation and seeing Qingyi's complexion gradually improve, the woman finally relaxed. "I'm sorry," she said softly, "I was impulsive just now."
Ten minutes later, Wang Lin withdrew his hand, supporting Qingyi as she leaned against the chair. "I've temporarily stabilized her condition, but she will need further treatment."
"I'll write you a prescription. Have the medicine prepared according to it, and she should be fine after a month," he added.

"I know, Mr. Wang. There's no need to say more," Ouyang Yue interrupted, pulling out a checkbook. "Here's one million, please accept it."
Glancing at the check, Wang Lin accepted it without hesitation. "Since you already know, there's no need for further explanation," he said calmly.
"Here's the prescription. The instructions for taking the medication are also on it," Wang Lin added, handing the written prescription to Ouyang Yue.
"Qingyi and I share a special connection. My contact information is on there. If something happens, you can call me; I'll save her life."
With those meaningful words, Wang Lin turned and walked away.
Watching his retreating figure, Ouyang Yue took out her phone, snapped a picture of the prescription, and sent it off.

"I didn't realize you were so compassionate. And since when did you learn medical skills?" Yu Xiangxiang had witnessed the whole event and now felt she hardly knew Wang Lin.
"I learned it recently," he replied.
"You learned it recently, and you dared to save someone? Aren't you afraid they might falsely accuse you?"
"I can cure her," Wang Lin began, then stopped, sitting quietly in the passenger seat, his eyes closed as if in meditation.
At that moment, in the office of the First People's Hospital, Sun Zaizhong was staring at a prescription on his phone, his brow furrowed. "This prescription is something," he muttered to himself.
After pondering it for over half an hour, Sun Zaizhong dialed a number. "Xiao Yue, I've reviewed your prescription, and it seems fine."
"Following the prescription should help improve your daughter's condition, although I can't yet confirm if it will cure her entirely," he continued.

"Thank you, Dr. Sun. I understand," Ouyang Yue's voice came from the other end of the line.

"Xiao Yue, have you heard any news about your brother?" Sun Zaizhong quietly asked, lowering his voice even though he was alone in his office.
"He'll come back," Ouyang Yue said before hanging up the phone.
