CHAPTER 28 - A CHANCE ENCOUNTER AT THE HOSPITAL
After the ball ended, Hong Ying personally escorted Wang Lin to his new villa in Tiantong Estate. The property paperwork had been sorted and the house was fully furnished, ready for immediate occupancy.
Standing in front of the three-story villa, Wang Lin broke into a smile. At last, he had a place to call his own.

"You should head back for now. In the next few days, I'll prepare a set of techniques specifically suited for you and then teach them to you," Wang Lin said calmly.
"Thank you, Master!"
Hong Ying was thrilled at the prospect of learning new techniques from him. She was so elated that she could barely contain her smile.
"I'll be on my way then, Master."
Upon entering the villa, Wang Lin switched on the lights and sank into the plush leather sofa, closing his eyes to contemplate the events of the past few days.
Even he found it surreal. In just a few short days, he'd gone from having nothing to being a billionaire. Now he even had the support of the most influential family in Luo City—the Hong family—and had found a clue about his mother's whereabouts. Everything seemed to be falling into place.

Even though Sun FeiFei assured him that all was well, Wang Lin could tell that she had been crying; tear stains were still visible at the corners of her eyes. Clearly, she was dealing with a serious issue.
"Fei, could we talk? Maybe I really can help you," Wang Lin spoke softly, adding,
"I'm not the same person I used to be."
Looking at Wang Lin, Sun FeiFei sensed that he was indeed different, emanating a unique sense of security and assurance.
After a moment of silence, Sun FeiFei spoke softly,
"Wang Lin, Zheng Xian and I are facing some troubles. His hands have been broken, and he's currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
"The surgery costs two hundred thousand dollars. We've saved up some money over the years, but we just bought a house and we're short on funds. I've asked many people for help, but we're still ten thousand dollars short."
As she spoke, Sun FeiFei broke down and began to cry. Zheng Xian was her boyfriend of five years, and they had planned to get married at the end of the year. She never expected this tragedy to happen.
"Don't worry, Fei. I've got this," Wang Lin assured her softly. He had always felt grateful for Sun FeiFei's kindness and considered her like an older sister. Now it was his turn to repay the favor.
