CHAPTER 47 - IT'S OVER NOW
"Who do you think you are?" Yang Zhen sneered at Wang Lin.
"Is this your place to speak?" he added, infuriated by Wang Lin's interruption.
In response, Wang Lin slapped Yang Zhen hard, spinning him around. His face swelled instantly.
"You dare hit me? I'll make you regret this!" Yang Zhen roared.
"Enough, you fool! Hand her over now!" Yang Zhong commanded, desperate to appease Wang Lin's wrath.
"Uncle, I didn't bring her back. How can I hand her over?" Yang Zhen, sensing the gravity of the situation, spoke softly.
"Where is she then?"
"In a... a basement," Yang Zhen stuttered, reluctant to reveal his secret hideout where he had harmed countless women.

"Take me there now!" Wang Lin demanded, a grim feeling stirring inside him.
"Uncle, who is this guy?"
"Shut up and lead us there," Yang Zhong ordered, his voice tense. He knew that if anything happened to Sun Feifei, the Yang family would be in deep trouble.
Upon arriving at the basement, Wang Lin was horrified. Sun Feifei lay there, barely clothed, her body scarred from whippings, her face cruelly marked.
Furious, Wang Lin punched Yang Zhen, sending him crashing into the wall. He died instantly.
Wang Lin then wrapped Sun Feifei in his coat and gently laid her down. He infused her with his energy, trying to heal her physical wounds.
"From today, the Yang family will become history," Wang Lin declared coldly. In his eyes, the Yang family no longer deserved to exist.
"Wang, please, the others in the Yang family are innocent, and you've already killed the culprit," Yang Zhong pleaded, fear evident in his voice.
"Innocent, you say? The rot in the Yang family runs deep. But I am not a mindless killer; those who are innocent will be spared," Wang Lin stated before carrying Sun Feifei away.
He prioritized her recovery over revenge. Healing her physical wounds was simple, but her emotional scars were another matter. He could only hope she would find peace.
Back at the villa, Wang Lin called Zheng Xian to assure him that Sun Feifei was safe, albeit injured. He'd visit once she recovered.
To avoid any impropriety, Wang Lin asked Yun Qiao to assist Sun Feifei. Overwhelmed by the sight of her injuries, Yun Qiao tenderly cared for her.
Sun Feifei awoke to find herself in the bathroom, panicking at first.
"It's okay now, sister. You're safe," Yun Qiao consoled.
"Feifei, it's over. The one who hurt you is no more," Wang Lin's voice, hoarse with emotion, came from outside the bathroom.

HEALING
After a long time, Yun Qiao emerged from the bathroom with Sun Feifei in tow. Sun Feifei's eyes, once bright and lively, now appeared lifeless, resembling a walking corpse. Wang Lin watched her with a pained heart, wanting to offer words of comfort but finding himself at a loss for where to begin.
"Feifei, let me tend to your wounds first," Wang Lin said gently. He carefully removed Sun Feifei's bathrobe, revealing a body marred with scars. Wang Lin then took out sterilized silver needles and began performing the Rejuvenation Six-Needle Technique.
With each needle placed, Sun Feifei's wounds visibly healed, leaving Yun Qiao in awe and curious about Wang Lin's abilities. Although the wounds scabbed over and healed quickly, they left numerous scars. The Rejuvenation Six-Needle Technique could heal injuries but not erase scars, which troubled Wang Lin.
"Feifei, rest assured, I will avenge you. The Yang family will pay; I'll make sure they disappear from this world," Wang Lin vowed.
However, Sun Feifei seemed disconnected, not registering his words. Seeing this, Wang Lin asked Yun Qiao to help her rest in her room.
"She's asleep now, Mr. Wang, but she..." Yun Qiao hesitated.
"She'll be fine!" Wang Lin interrupted, relieved that Sun Feifei hadn't been violated by the despicable Yang Zhen. His main concern now was how to remove the scars on her body and face.
"You should stay with her. I'm worried she might not cope well with this trauma," Wang Lin suggested.

Yun Qiao nodded and returned to Sun Feifei's room.
Left alone, Wang Lin sat in the living room, his face etched with regret. He felt he should have dealt with Yang Zhen earlier. Despite possessing many extraordinary healing techniques, he couldn't remove scars.
"Beautifying Elixir... no, that won't work," he muttered.
Then it struck him - the Revitalizing Elixir. Although it was just a minor recipe in the grand scheme of his celestial inheritance, it could be the solution he needed. Wang Lin excitedly noted that even the least significant formulas remembered by a Celestial Emperor were extraordinary.
However, the elixir's ingredients were rare and not readily available. Determined, Wang Lin listed them out and found suitable substitutes, not deterred by the possibility of failure. He needed to try, even if there was only a slim chance of success.
Wang Lin ventured out to purchase the necessary herbs, spending a significant amount of money. Once home, he began the meticulous process of mixing the ingredients.
To test its efficacy, he applied the newly created ointment on a self-inflicted wound on his arm. After numerous failures, he finally succeeded in making an effective concoction.
The ointment, a creamy white substance, healed the wound on his arm rapidly, leaving no trace of injury. Encouraged, Wang Lin applied a black salve on the scar, and after ten minutes, it had completely vanished.
"Finally, it's successful!" Wang Lin exclaimed, collapsing onto the sofa, exhausted.
His brief rest was shattered by Yun Qiao's frantic shouts. "Mr. Wang, it's terrible! Feifei is trying to take her life!"
Jolted awake, Wang Lin rushed upstairs without a moment's hesitation.
