Yun Qingqiao's cousins had joined the army for training, leaving only Seventh Brother, Ye Renyu, at home. It seemed Ye Renyu would have to handle things again.

Ye Renyu found the two brothers of Youzhu and Jingyu in a dilapidated house near the dock. Their frail bodies were curled up on a pile of straw that could hardly be called a bed. "Yes, Miss," the young man with the leg injury nodded.

After several repositioning and stabilization procedures, Yun Qingqiao applied splints to their injuries. The era lacked plaster for setting fractures, so she relied on the rudimentary splinting method. She then proceeded with a series of instructions—

"Firstly, I'll visit periodically to check on your injuries, monitor blood circulation, and look for any abnormalities in your skin, fingers, or toes."

"Secondly, Youzhu and Jingyu, you must take good care of your brothers, especially in diet and daily life. Nutrition is key, and I will instruct the kitchen staff accordingly."

"Thirdly, you two can recuperate in my Seventh Brother's courtyard without worry. I'll personally explain the situation to my grandfather."

"Fourthly, Jingyu's brother, your arm has been set; aside from avoiding movement in that arm, you can get out of bed. As for Youzhu's brother, you've fractured your leg, so you must remain bedridden. Turn over periodically, but be careful not to hurt your injured leg. As soon as you can, begin moving to help with blood circulation.
