CHAPTER 43 - CAPTURE HIM
Wang Lin's statement left everyone in the room stunned. Yun Hong and his family were frightened, while Zhao Lijie and his entourage were taken aback, never having encountered anyone who dared speak to them in such a manner.
"Mr. Wang, the Zhao family is very powerful. Perhaps we should find another room," Yun Qiao suggested, knowing Wang Lin's fighting prowess but doubting his ability to take on the entire Zhao family.
"You've got guts, kid. I've lived for twenty years, and you're the first person who's dared to talk to me like that," Zhao Lijie sneered. In his mind, Wang Lin was already a dead man.
"You'll come across it more often," Wang Lin replied indifferently.
"If you don't leave now, not even the Zhao family can protect you."
Zhao Lijie's entourage laughed mockingly.
"This guy must be crazy to say such things."
"I think he's brainless. How else could he say something so absurd?" another one of Zhao Lijie's followers taunted.
Yun Hong, trying to defuse the situation, said with a forced smile, "Mr. Zhao, we were just leaving. Please excuse us."
Zhao Lijie smirked. "I might let him off if he crawls under my legs. Otherwise, he's not leaving here."
Yun Hong started to protest but restrained himself, realizing the strength of the Zhao family.
Zhao Lijie continued, "Old man, you can leave, but he won't unless he crawls under my legs."
"Aren't you afraid of offending someone you can't afford to?" Wang Lin asked with a hint of amusement.
Zhao Lijie laughed loudly.
"In Luo City, there are people I can't afford to offend, but clearly, you're not one of them."
"What a pity..." Wang Lin sighed. "It seems you're unaware of last night's events."
"Last night?" Zhao Lijie looked puzzled, having spent the previous evening playing poker in a hotel.
"No matter what happened last night, today, you're either crawling under my legs or leaving here with broken limbs," Zhao Lijie declared.
"There is another way out," Wang Lin said calmly. "You slap yourself ten times, then kneel and apologize."
Zhao Lijie's followers burst into laughter, dismissing Wang Lin's words as the ramblings of a drunk.
Yun Hong now regarded Wang Lin as a madman, for only a madman would make such a crazy proposal.
"I've decided to take you back and torture you slowly," Zhao Lijie said coldly. "Let's see if your mouth remains as tough then."
"Seize him!" Zhao Lijie ordered, signaling his men to capture Wang Lin.

I AM WILLING TO FOLLOW YOU, SIR
As Zhao Lijie's order was issued, a middle-aged man with a formidable aura appeared in the room. Wang Lin, unimpressed by the man's presence, regarded him as just another master close to breaking into the Grandmaster realm - not a threat to him.
"Mr. Feng, capture this boy. I want to torture him slowly. Let him taste a fate worse than death," Zhao Lijie instructed with a nasty tone, then withdrew to the doorway with his group to watch.
The man, Feng Yi, was only a step away from becoming a Grandmaster.
"My apologies," he said solemnly, then swiftly moved towards Wang Lin, aiming a clawed hand at his shoulder.
Wang Lin remained seated, casually sipping his tea, unfazed even as Feng Yi's hand reached his shoulder.
Zhao Lijie sneered, "That kid's shoulder is as good as crushed. Mr. Feng can easily break marble with his grip!"
Yet, contrary to expectations, it was Feng Yi who broke out in a cold sweat, trembling under Wang Lin's unmoved posture.
With a muffled thud, Wang Lin's slight shoulder shake sent Feng Yi staggering back into the wall.
"A Grandmaster?" Feng Yi's voice was laced with disbelief. He, at forty-five, had barely reached the threshold of Grandmaster, and here was Wang Lin, barely in his twenties, already at that level.
"What? He's a Grandmaster?" Zhao Lijie and his entourage gasped in astonishment. The presence of a Grandmaster was daunting, and even the Zhao family couldn't ignore such a formidable figure.

Zhao Lijie's face darkened, realizing that if Wang Lin truly was a Grandmaster, then his previous actions were suicidal. If Wang Lin chose to, not even the Zhao family could protect him.
"Still want to fight?" Wang Lin stood up and approached Feng Yi, his voice icy.
"Please forgive me, sir!" Feng Yi dropped to one knee, offering his apology. As a warrior on the verge of becoming a Grandmaster, he knew the significance of offending a Grandmaster – it could mean death or a powerful ally.
Wang Lin smiled faintly at Feng Yi's submission and said, "A true warrior must always be fearless. If you cower, you'll never progress." He then lightly tapped Feng Yi's shoulder, sending a surge of spiritual energy into his body, guiding his internal energy.
A burst of energy erupted from Feng Yi, and after a minute, it subsided, leaving him in shock.
"I've broken through?"
"Thank you for your guidance, sir!" Feng Yi knelt and kowtowed to Wang Lin, grateful for the breakthrough he had been struggling to achieve for five years.
In awe of Wang Lin's strength and technique, far beyond that of an ordinary Grandmaster, Feng Yi declared, "I am willing to follow you, sir, to serve loyally and seek your guidance in the martial arts.”
