Scar's Pov
Jade and Tinu pulled me to the section for clothes and began to throw different clothes at me, telling me to try them. This was more like shopping for me than for them, I said chuckling. Jade frowned a little then chuckled, and Tinu told me to stop acting like a big baby and try then on.
"But I have clothes," I whined
Jade scoffed and said, "shey¹ those clothes that look like they're from the nineties abi²?"
Rolling my eyes, I proclaimed still whining, "fashion is comfort", which in turn earned me a scoff from Jade and an eye roll from Tinu, simultaneously telling me, "yeah.. reasonable comfort"
I was still mumbling and stomping my feet like a child when I noticed that Tinu's facial expression suddenly changed and looked like someone who had seen a ghost.
Before I could ask what was going on she quickly shoved me into the changing room, asking me to try all the clothes on and make sure they fit. Well, that was odd, I said to myself before shrugging it off and picking the clothes to try them on. After all, they looked good, I thought to myself
Tinu's Pov
I couldn't let her see what I had just seen, she'd be shattered and heartbroken. I wasn't sure what I'd seen but now I'm pretty sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me... It was indeed Alex with another girl. I would've concluded that they were just friends or something if I hadn't seen him kiss her and pressed her butt lightly. That bastard, I'm gonna kill him! As if sensing my rage Jade asked me what was wrong and I pointed towards Alex and the girl. My gaze was still trained on him when I heard her mutter shit, I turned to her and saw that she was equally as angry as I was if not more. We both treated Scar as our sister and we knew how naive she was, she lost her fucking virginity to the bastard and she was hopelessly in love with him.. she'll be so heartbroken if she saw this and I couldn't let it happen so I had to push her into the changing room. I swear I'm going to cut off his balls and feed them to him. I heard Jade muttering beside me while clenching and unclenching her fist; trust me you never want to see an angry Jade. Her face was all red and if it were to be a cartoon, smoke would probably be oozing out of her ears right now. Before I could say anything to calm her down I heard my name only to turn around and see a heartbroken Scarlett with tears drizzling down her face. I didn't know what to say, I just watched her as I saw her looking at Alex... That bastard, he's gonna regret this! Before I could talk to Scarlett she was already walking towards Alex who hadn't even noticed us at this point.
Scar's Pov
I couldn't believe my eyes, the love of my life or the one I thought was the love of my life was here in the arms of another woman smiling happily. I didn't know what I was going to say to him but I just kept walking until I was standing behind them and I called his name. When he turned around and saw me, surprise and shock were evident on his face.
"Alex why?" I asked him, my voice muffled in between tears and sobs. 'wasn't I enough??? Is it something I did???' All these questions kept playing in my head as I watched him, waiting for an explanation.
None... he gave none; he just said he's sorry and walked away. Sorry? He's sorry?! Sorry doesn't cut it, I wanted an explanation but I couldn't bring myself to stop him as he walked away and I crumbled to the floor... I tried to think of where I went wrong.
"He's not worth your tears," I looked up to the source of the voice to see Jade looking at me with seriousness in her face before she crouched down beside me and pulled me into a comforting hug... that only made me cry more.
Tinu's Pov
That son of a bitch! I told Jade to go and comfort Scar while I go and deal with the bastard. 'How dare he? Did he just think he could hurt Scarlett and get away with it?' I thought as I went outside the mall following him 'HEYY' I called after him, he turned to look at me and I could see the fear evident on his face as he looked at the girl beside him. 'Yeah, you're supposed to be scared, bastard!' I thought sinisterly, you hurt Scar so you've hurt me.
Before I stopped in front of him he had already started talking, "Tinu please I'm not in the mood to fight…
"Who's fighting with you?'' I asked him. I'm just here to find out why you did it. "Is it that you never loved her?" I asked him.
"You know I loved Tinu..." he told me.
"Then why did you do it?" I asked, looking pointedly at him. When he didn't answer, I shouted, "WHY?!" The girl beside him whimpered.. 'yeah, get that bitch' I thought. He looked down when he looked up I wasn't prepared for what I saw, I saw tears welling up in his eyes, I was dazed for a moment then he spoke, his voice sounding croaked, "It was a one-night thing I swear I was drunk and horny I honestly didn't know why I did it, but I did and then she became pregnant and my parents said I should marry her since I was foolish enough to get her pregnant... Tinu I swear I never meant to hurt Scar"
I was stunned speechless. I just told him it was okay and left. When I got back inside I saw that Scar had finally stopped crying but you could still hear her soft whimpers. Jade looked at me and told me that she felt that we should leave and had already called a cab so we left without buying anything.
When we got to the apartment, Scar just left and went upstairs to her room. Jade looked at me. I knew she was expecting an explanation so I briefed her on what Alex told me. She too was equally shocked but still managed, "now, we have to look for a way to get our best friend back"
I also had the same train of thought as Jade, I had never felt this frustrated before…
A/N: Awww...... Poor Scarlett... I literally cried while writing this chapter, I'm just an emotional being😅 ... So this is officially my longest chapter now... Lemme know what you think... Love you xoxo 😘😘
