The soft fur clustered around her neck, accentuating her petite and charming face, making it impossible to look away. Her amber eyes held a trace of subtle apprehension and curiosity about this unfamiliar world, making her even more endearing.
A bold and playful young man stepped forward, grinning, "So you're my little sister, huh? We've met before—quick, call me 'big brother'!"
Only then did Yun Qingqiao realize that these young men were the very servants sent by her maternal grandfather; they were her cousins. She offered them a slight smile but remained silent.
At this moment, Duke Ye cleared his throat authoritatively and declared, "This is Yun Qingqiao, my granddaughter, who has come to us from the capital city. She is the daughter of my daughter, Ye Hehuan. From now on, she will be the legitimate young mistress of the Duke of Dingnan's residence.
