Before beginning the suturing, Yun Qingqiao sterilized the needle and thread, meticulously stopping the bleeding and cleaning the wound. She performed what she considered her first minor surgery since arriving in this world. Although she felt rusty, it did not hinder her meticulous approach.

She sewed the layers of tissue together, making sure that the needle entered and exited at symmetrical points, and that the stitch spacing was consistent. She aligned the edges and walls of the wound perfectly, treating the procedure with the precision and care of a craftsman creating a work of art. By the time she had finished suturing, she was drenched in sweat.

Next, Yun Qingqiao rechecked the girl's rib area to ensure that the pain from the leg suturing hadn't caused any dislocation of the broken rib. Upon inspection, it appeared that the young girl was indeed strong; she had weathered the pain without further complicating her condition.

After completing the medical treatments, Yun Qingqiao stepped out of the room. Though physically drained, she felt an immense sense of satisfaction deep within her. Her fatigue was due to her youth and limited stamina, while her joy stemmed from realizing her life's ambition of becoming a doctor—even in this unfamiliar era.

Upon entering the grand hall, she found everyone awaiting news of her success. With a confident smile, she said, "It was a success. Uncle, you can now call the family doctor to review my medical work."

The old Marquis gestured for the household physician to go in and inspect her work. A maid promptly washed Yun Qingqiao's hands and applied fragrant lotion before carefully drying them with a soft cloth.

After his examination, the family physician emerged and muttered in awe, "Miss Yun's technique for treating a broken rib is truly remarkable. Typically, we doctors only fix arm or leg fractures; stabilizing a rib is exceedingly difficult. Her method was a revelation."

Unable to contain his excitement, he continued, "The way she treated that girl's leg injury was something I've never seen before. Not only did she expertly stop the bleeding to prevent excessive blood loss, but her technique also allowed for quicker wound healing and less pain for the patient. I am extraordinarily fortunate to have witnessed such a method; it's an immense honor."

Ye Hongde said, "Dr. Wang, you may leave now."

The old Marquis stroked his beard in bewilderment and asked, "Qingqiao, how did you learn medical techniques?"

Lady Ye, equally astonished, added, "Yes, I had no idea that our precious granddaughter was skilled in medicine. You are exceptionally clever."

Qingqiao replied respectfully, "Grandfather, Grandmother, Uncle, my medical skills come from studying some rare medical texts. They mostly teach these surgical techniques."

Internally, Qingqiao was a bit disdainful. After all, she was a top student from the 21st century and naturally had an advantage when standing on the shoulders of China's 5,000-year civilization. But for now, she could only cover up her modern surgical knowledge with a vague explanation.

The old Marquis slapped his thigh in exclamation, "Girl, you truly are a prodigy! I was already amazed when you demonstrated your literacy and ability to decipher text. Then, you took to martial arts like a duck to water, advancing at a breakneck pace. Now, you surprise us with your medical skills. You are undoubtedly our family's prodigy!"

Beaming, he continued, "You're more accomplished than all your uncles and brothers. You are truly my splendid granddaughter. With such wisdom, you take after me. Whatever you wish to pursue in the future, know that your grandfather will never stand in your way!"

Lady Ye looked sidelong at her husband, the old Marquis, and remarked, "Several of our daughters-in-law have said Qingqiao takes after me. Now, how did she suddenly come to resemble you?"

The old Marquis retorted with a step back, "Fine, let's say she takes after both of us, but just a bit more after me!"
