When the group arrived on the first floor, they saw that everyone in the ballroom had paused their social dancing upon seeing Hong Shiwen and Hong Ying.

Noticing this, Hong Shiwen chuckled and said,

"Don't mind us, everyone! Keep enjoying yourselves!"

Wang Lin led a few people to an open space outside the villa. With a casual wave of his hand, four streams of spiritual energy flew to the four corners of the villa and vanished into the ground.

Shortly after, the ground started to quiver slightly, alarming everyone. People rushed outside, fearfully asking,

"Mr. Hong, what's happening? Is it an earthquake?"

"Don't worry, folks. Mr. Wang is just casting a spell," Hong Lin reassured the crowd, though his explanation only confused them more.

"A spell? Are you saying there are actual immortals?"

"Ha, you must be drunk! Since when are there immortals in this world?"

Before the man could finish, four beams of light suddenly shot up around the villa.

The light pillars intersected in mid-air and quickly formed an intricate magical array. Initially, it was the size of a washbasin, but it expanded in the air and gradually descended. By the time the array was just a meter above the ground, it had expanded enough to cover the entire villa.

"Go!"

With a low shout from Wang Lin, the magical array instantly submerged into the ground. Moments later, the crowd heard a series of crackling sounds emanating from below.

At the same time, the ground continued to tremble slightly, causing the women to let out a series of frightened screams. Luckily, the shaking only lasted for about thirty seconds before everything returned to normal.

Seeing this, Wang Lin broke into a smile and said,

"Mr. Hong, the underground array has been broken, and I've also set up a simple Spirit Gathering Array. This array gathers the natural energy from the earth and sky. Living here long-term will improve your health and extend your lifespan."

Hearing Wang Lin's fantastical explanation, a drunk man couldn't help but mock him,

"Kid, are you just blowing smoke here? A Spirit Gathering Array, you say? Do you think you're some kind of god?"

Ignoring the man's sarcasm, Wang Lin walked over to a plum tree by the wall and casually said,

"You're not far off…"

Before he could finish, everyone's jaws dropped in disbelief, their eyes widening at the sight before them. The plum tree, which should only have blossomed in winter, astonishingly produced a flower in the height of summer.

Not just that; a second, third, and a series of blossoms unfurled one after another. In a matter of minutes, the plum tree in front of Wang Lin was in full bloom, filling the air with its sweet fragrance.

"Is this some kind of magic trick?"

One person rubbed their eyes, questioning whether their blurred vision was due to having had one too many drinks.

"I must be dreaming,"

People muttered in awe, struggling to find the right words.

"How could plum blossoms bloom in summer?"

Both Mr. Hong and Hong Lin wore expressions of shock, disbelief, and self-doubt, much like everyone else around them.

After a moment, Mr. Hong finally broke the silence.

"Mr. Wang, you've truly stunned us all. Such abilities are nothing short of divine!"

Wang Lin chuckled.

"You're too kind, Mr. Hong. All I did was channel the gathered spiritual energy from the array into this tree. That's why the plum blossoms bloomed out of season."

"With this array in place, living here long-term will not only extend your life but also keep illnesses at bay. Consider this a small token of my gratitude, Mr. Hong. Could you find someone to maintain it?"

Mr. Hong laughed heartily,

"Thank you, Mr. Wang. From now on, your concerns are also the concerns of the Hong family."

"To cross Mr. Wang is to cross the Hong family," he added, his voice quiet but carrying enough weight to be heard by everyone present.

It was clear that Mr. Hong intended to vouch for Wang Lin. As the night wore on, everyone gathered realized that another untouchable figure had just emerged in the city.
