After leaving the inpatient ward, Wang Lin made some inquiries and found his way to Sun Zaizhong's office.

Upon seeing Wang Lin, Sun Zaizhong put down the book he was reading and exclaimed,

"Mr. Wang, you've come! Please, have a seat."

"So what brings you here today? Could it be...?"

Catching the glint of hope in Sun Zaizhong's eyes, Wang Lin smiled gently and said,

"You guessed it, Sun. I've come today specifically to give you the Nine Needles of Ghost Valley technique."

With that, Wang Lin pulled out a stack of papers from his bag. They contained diagrams of human acupuncture points and detailed instructions for applying the needles.

Taking the papers with trembling hands, Sun Zaizhong said emotionally,

"Mr. Wang, you truly are the hope of our traditional Chinese medical community!

With this technique, I believe that traditional Chinese medicine will shine brightly once again in the near future."

Wang Lin smiled at the visibly moved Sun Zaizhong. He had great respect for the older doctor, who had dedicated his life to the medical profession. The fact that Sun was willing to learn from someone as young as him showcased his true scholarly spirit.

And that was precisely why Wang Lin was willing to freely impart this technique to him. He believed that only in Sun's hands could this method achieve its full potential.

"Sun, feel free to pass on this technique to anyone you wish," Wang Lin said softly. "True heritage isn't about hoarding knowledge; it's about sharing it freely."

Wang Lin's words resonated deeply within Sun ZaiZhong. He hadn't expected someone as young as Wang Lin to possess such a generous spirit.

"Mr. Wang, you're truly a role model for all of us. I've lived most of my life, yet I've not achieved the wisdom you have," Sun ZaiZhong sighed, clearly humbled.

"You give me too much credit, Sun. I've merely contributed what little I can," Wang Lin responded modestly. "It's an honor to contribute to the revival of traditional Chinese medicine."

"Ha, you're absolutely right! We should all give our all for the renaissance of our medical tradition, even if it takes everything we have," Sun Zaizhong laughed heartily. He had never felt this optimistic before.

For years, traditional Chinese medicine had been suppressed by Western medicine and even discredited by witch doctors. Its very existence seemed perilous, overshadowed by medical practices from abroad.

Without fresh innovation, traditional Chinese medicine might soon fade from public view. But now, with the advent of the Nine Needles of Ghost Valley technique, its revival seemed imminent.

"Sun, there's something I'd like to ask you," Wang Lin paused before continuing.

"I'm planning to open a clinic for traditional Chinese medicine, and I'd appreciate your help with the paperwork."

Given that Sun ZaiZhong was the president of the Luo City Traditional Chinese Medicine Association, his support would significantly ease the bureaucratic process.

"Are you planning to take on apprentices and treat patients in your clinic?" Sun ZaiZhong asked excitedly, as he would definitely become an apprentice if Wang Lin was open to it. All because Wang Lin had mastery over lost techniques like the Nine Needles of Ghost Valley technique.

"Yes, that's the plan. I've compiled a few techniques like the Hui Yang Triple Needles, the Gui Men Thirteen Needles, the Gui Gu Nine Needles, the Fu Xi Divine Needles, and the Hua Yang Six Needles," Wang Lin revealed.

With every word, Sun Zaizhong grew more astonished. He'd only encountered fragments of these techniques in ancient texts; never had he seen the actual methodologies. But he had no reason to doubt Wang Lin, especially since he now held the Nine Needles of Ghost Valley technique in his hands.

"Once the paperwork for the clinic is sorted, I'll select some individuals with good aptitude and a willingness to learn for apprenticeships," Wang Lin stated.

Hearing that Wang Lin truly intended to take on students, Sun Zaizhong eagerly inquired, "

"Mr. Wang, may I have the privilege of becoming one of your students?"

"Of course! I'd also appreciate it if you could help me identify some talented individuals from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Association," Wang Lin responded with a smile.

After some more pleasantries, Wang Lin stood up to take his leave. He'd provide the necessary documents, but Sun Zaizhong would handle the rest of the administrative details.
