"Enough with the act; I know you're just here to look," the female salesperson scoffed mercilessly. She had seen too many who came to take photos without any intention of buying a car, often in groups paying for the thrill.

Naturally, she lumped Wang Lin into that category.

"You!?" Wang Lin was taken aback by the salesperson's materialistic attitude. Frustrated, yet restraining himself from lashing out, he approached another salesperson wearing a badge with the name 'Li Na' and asked softly, "Excuse me, which is the most expensive car you have here?"

"Ah?" Li Na, clearly startled and a bit flustered by the sudden question, struggled to respond.

Seeing her confusion, Wang Lin repeated, "Which is the most expensive car you have?"

"Oh, that would be the Mercedes G-Class AMG, priced at 4.5 million..." Li Na said softly, leading Wang Lin to the car.

"If you're looking at installment plans..."

"No need, I'll pay in full, right now," Wang Lin interrupted, producing a credit card.

"But, I don’t know how to process a full payment yet..." Li Na admitted sheepishly. She had been there for a month and hadn't closed a single deal, only trained in handling installment plans.

"It's okay, just call your manager over. I’ll make sure this sale is credited to you," Wang Lin assured her.

"Thank you!" Li Na said excitedly, rushing into the office.

Meanwhile, the scornful saleswoman was kicking herself for her foolishness and cursing Wang Lin for 'pretending to be poor.'

Soon, Li Na returned with a woman in her thirties. "Hello, sir, I'm Wu Qing, the sales manager," the woman introduced herself. "Li has briefed me. If there are no issues, we can proceed with the contract."

"Who gets the credit for this sale?" Wang Lin inquired, wary of others snatching the deal from Li Na, a common occurrence in luxury car dealerships.

"It will be credited to Li Na, of course," Wu Qing replied with a smile.

"Actually, I was the first to assist this gentleman. It should be my sale," the earlier saleswoman interjected, standing up confidently.

"Oh, is that so?" Wu Qing looked questioningly at Li Na.

"Yes, it was Zhou Ru who first attended to him," Li Na said reluctantly, tears welling up in her eyes under the pressure from Wu Qing and Zhou Ru.

"In that case, the sale will be credited to Zhou Ru. Li Na, you may go," Wu Qing decided, favoring the more experienced Zhou Ru over the newcomer Li Na.

"Wait, the sale must go to her," Wang Lin insisted, pointing at Li Na. He was not about to let Zhou Ru, who had mocked him upon his arrival, benefit from this deal.

"Sir, if Zhou Ru was the first to assist you, then it's only right that she gets the credit. That's our store policy," Wu Qing explained.

"Assist me? She did anything but," Wang Lin retorted.

"When I walked in, she was nothing but derisive and even told me to leave."

Wu Qing sensed something was amiss and turned to Zhou Ru, asking sternly, "What happened? Tell me."

With Wu Qing angry and Zhou Ru sweating under pressure, she quickly tried to explain: "I was just joking with him..."

"Joking? She belittled me from the moment I entered, even telling me to 'get lost'," Wang Lin revealed.

"If this sale goes to her, I won't make the purchase."

"I'm sorry for any offense caused, sir," Wu Qing apologized, realizing the gravity of the situation and the potential loss of a major sale.

"Zhou Ru, if this sale isn't successful, you're out."

"You didn’t offend me. Why are you apologizing?" Wang Lin said coldly.

Wu Qing shot Zhou Ru a meaningful look, clearly expecting her to make things right.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, Zhou Ru hesitated. Apologizing to Wang Lin was the last thing she wanted, but losing such a significant sale meant certain dismissal.

Finally, with gritted teeth, Zhou Ru bowed slightly and said, "I'm sorry. Please forgive my rudeness earlier."
